The life of a BSA Unit Commissioner or Assistant District Commissioner

Often if you are in a Stake Primary position in the USA, you get to either be a Unit Commissioner or Assistant District Commissioner.

 In a stake Primary role, Unit Commissioners are district and council leaders who help Scout units succeed. They coach and consult with adult leaders of Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops. Unit Commissioners help maintain the standards of the Boy Scouts of America.

At the end of every year there is a Journey to Excellence Score Card (2 sided) that each unit should fill out. If they don't fill it out then you call them and help them to fill it out and you submit them to you council.

To find the current JTE score card just google the year and JTE Score card. Simple!!

 Don't forget:
Troop = 11 yr old Boy Scouts
Pack = 8yr old - 10yr old Cub Scouts
